Admissions Process

At Lighthouse International School, our admissions process is designed to guide families step by step, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience. Please complete each step in order. Contact us at any time if you have questions.

Application

Fill out our application form with all required information and send it to [email protected] with the following documents: 

  • Child’s ID: birth certificate, passport, or national ID
  • Updated vaccination record
  • Recent photo of the student
  • Letter from the previous school confirming payments are up to date
  • Pre-K to 1st grade: Hearing and vision test results, nutrition/development/physical assessment
  • 1st grade and above: Transcripts from the last two years, teacher recommendation
  • Copy of the official MEP diploma for the last completed level (Preparatoria, 6th grade, or 9th grade)
  • Reports of any academic, psychological, standardized tests, or accommodations
  • Copy of parents’ official ID

Visit Day and Academic Assessment

Once the application and documents are received, the student will be scheduled for a Visit Day. During this visit, the student will participate in classroom activities and complete the corresponding academic assessments according to their grade level.

Parent Interview

After the student’s visit, parents or guardians will participate in a virtual interview with a member of the Admissions Committee to discuss the student’s experience and next steps.

Decision

The Admissions Committee reviews all documentation, the assessment results, and interview notes. Families will then be formally notified of the decision.

Enrollment

If admitted, the parent or guardian completes the enrollment agreement and pays the corresponding tuition and fees to secure the student’s place.

Tuition & Fees

Half-year payment has a 5% discount and yearly payment has a 10% discount.
A $1000 entrance fee per family is charged for 1st-year enrollment
(once, not refundable). Discount for 3rd and 4th children: 20%
