Accreditation

Lighthouse International School is currently in process of obtaining dual accreditation: first to the Ministry of Education (MEP) and following to a US accrediting agency. Furthermore, Lighthouse is seeking membership to both the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The process of accreditation to these agencies lasts between 1-5 years. Once Lighthouse students reach the high school level, all accreditation and membership will be attained so as to provide access to admissions at selective universities upon graduation. Furthermore, the academic program in the elementary school is geared towards success in the International Baccalaureate Diploma program at the high school level. The IB program broadens the scope of opportunities provided to students at an international level upon graduation. An education at Lighthouse will prepare our graduates for academic success at the college and university level. Accreditation is a key to that goal. In addition, a strong focus is placed on the adoption of the best curricular plan and textbooks which will provide the foundation for the academic success of our students.
